EXPERIENCE
After graduation in 1984, Mr. Eissler relocated to Florida to pursue a career in the golf design industry. He began working with the Golden Ocala Development Company as a landscape architect and land planner. He spent the next 12 years refining his expertise as a land planner at both an engineering and land planning firm with an emphasis in golf course community master planning. In 1996, Mr. Eissler established GEORGE J. EISSLER Planning & Design Company, Inc. and soon thereafter he joined Powell Golf Design Company, which he had been working in association with since 1994.

In the past 18 years, Mr. Eissler has been involved in the master planning of over 20 golf course communities throughout Florida working in collaboration with such distinguished golf course architects as Gary Player, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Steve Smyers and Gene Bates. Since joining Powell Golf Design Company, he has been responsible for the preparation of community master plans, routing plans, site designs, construction documents and graphic presentations.

Mr. Eissler currently serves on the Board of Managers for the Sarasota Family YMCA and is actively involved in various youth sports organizations. He resides with his wife and two children in Sarasota, Florida.
